Greetings, just purchased a 36K miles, 1990 300zx, 5 speed, stock, red. What a cool car these are!
This was a local car in Portland, Or. I am the second owner from new. The car runs great, like new almost.
I also have a 1984 300zx 50th, 5 speed with 19K miles, also local car. Owned several 50th cars over the years, it is a mint show room example. I bought it after being stored for 16 years. Did the restart work etc, the car is just mint, love owning it.
Back to the 1990. need some good pieces to snap it up a little. like exhaust (down pipes to twin out let cat backs or ??).
Anything to modify the factory air box inlets? don't want to put a rain catcher puddle sucker on it around here.
Turbo boost controller (pump gas only used), I think I can go to about 16-18 psi without any issue, yes-no?
Anything else you folks know of that makes sense. I am just looking to make it run a little stronger. I like torque rise and a third gear that will snap you back a little above peak torque.
I would entertain any other parts you may have too, like turbos, ECM, intercoolers, etc for the next level that I may take it to at a later date.
